So y’all already know that I’ve been looking for a co-blogger, and Zoe and I actually ended up choosing TWO! Today we’re finally going to share them with you guys. ;)

You probably have a few questions, though…

I didn’t even know you were looking for a co-blogger!

You must’ve been hibernating these past few weeks, then. I announced looking for one here, and I also mentioned them here. (Zoe also tweeted about them here.)

Why did you choose these people in particular?

Zoe and I had the toughest time choosing the new members of our team. Of course, if we could, we would have taken in all 20+ people who wanted to join our merry band of crazy girls, but then this blog would basically explode. It’s definitely a “it’s not you, it’s me” case–we had to pick people whose styles were a bit similar to ours so we’d know that they’d click with the readers. We also had to make sure that they’d click with us.

Just get on with it! WHO ARE THEY?

No need to be so pushy! Here they are! Please put your hands together for…

Hey there, I’m C.J.!  I’m a font of useless knowledge and an endless source of sarcasm.  Oh, and I guess I read, too.

I’m not married to one genre, but I mostly read YA, especially fantasy.  I’ll also read an NA here and there and a good helping of adult fiction, mostly of the literary or classic variety—and whatever category you’d put Chuck Palahniuk in.  I don’t mind romance, but I get bored of only romance, and I’ll refuse to read a book on mere suspicion of a Cullen-esque romance.  I also tend to be harsh on the writing, because I can’t really love a book if it’s lacking in mechanics.

My favorite authors include Diana Wynne Jones, Chuck Palahniuk, Sarah J. Maas, Susan Dennard, John Green, A.S. King, Bret Easton Ellis, and Oscar Wilde.  I’m also a Harry Potter freak.

I’m Sara, a Colombian teenager with a never-ending enjoyment for reading. I read anything I can get my hands on but I admit that I’m a challenging person to please. My favorite pastimes are avoiding my responsibilities, emotionally investing myself in books and tv shows, and procrastinating. I have the tendency to talk more than I probably should (seriously, I never ever shut up) and there is nothing I love more than learning new things. I aspire to one day work as a traveling physician helping those in suffering while learning firsthand about cultures, languages, and the natural environment. I’m a Netflix and Disney enthusiast and my monumental obsession is coffee; so I can do nothing with more energy.

About Aimee

Aimee loves being a little bookworm (okay–she doesn’t like being little). She also loves chocolates and sweets but is freaked out by the thought of possibly getting diabetes.

CJ – hearing that you are a Harry Potter freak is very exciting for another feelow Harry Potter freak. It’s 8 years later and I still can’t get enough

Sara – all your pastimes are spot on. Like wow I didn’t know that we took an interest in the same things! Also yes I am obsessed with coffee. my parents and I like to joke that that might be why I’m so short.

  11. LATE TO THIS PARTY (as usual :p), BUT EEEP, CONGRATS ON FINDING YOUR NEW CO-BLOGGERS, YOU GUYS! And welcome CJ and Sara to Deadly Darlings! Lolol, I love how CJ says, “I’m not married to one genre.” That’s an interesting way to put it. And yaaaasss. Aimee and Zoe, I approve of your decision of picking CJ because how can one resist a Harry Potter freak?!

And this may sound creepy, but Sara, I am so similar to you I can’t even. Avoiding responsibilities? Check. Emotionally invested in fictional worlds and beings? Yep. Can’t shut up? Well, only online. In real life I’m as quiet as a mouse. xD I would be a Netflix junkie too, only Netflix isn’t available in my country. Guess that’s a blessing in disguise, haha. I really don’t need anything else to keep me from setting my priorities straight.

Can’t wait to see posts from the both of you!!

    1. Lol, Meg! Better late then never. ;D I totally forget about ALL responsibilities in the presence of books or the internet. ;) And I am also glad that Netflix isn’t available in our country. XD
