DEADLY CHRISTMAS INTERVIEW

Aimee: If the Addicted boys haven’t met the Addicted girls yet, would any of them want to date either of you two? ;) And would you say yes to them?

Krista: Oh gosh! This is a tough alternate universe, since I just love all the Addicted couples together. I would like to think Connor would want to date me, since I am a bit like Rose. But I would feel so bad taking him from his true love.

Becca: Since I love comic books like Lo, we could possibly run into each other in the comic book section of a bookstore or at Superheroes & Scones (if I lived in Philly)—and I’d definitely say yes if he asked me out, especially if Lily doesn’t exist in this alternate universe. But a Lo without a Lily is quite sad…

Aimee: If you were to be the stars of your own reality TV shows, what would the show’s title be and why?

Krista: I’m assuming the reality show would be Becca and me together since we’re way more interesting together than alone. Hmmm…maybe The Real Twins of Atlanta. A parody on The Real Housewives show.

Becca: Lol, I love that one, Krista! It’d definitely be about us being twins—maybe like Double Double Toil & Trouble. Even though we’re not nearly as spectacular as Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen.

Aimee: If you two were to become secret spies, which three book characters (from any book) do you want to spy on first and why?

Krista: Oooh. This is good. Not from our books—I’d probably spy on Jackson from Tempest by Julie Cross because he’s technically a spy too, and it would make me improve my spy skills. And then Daemon from Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout because he’s a hottie (and that sounds super creepy). And then everyone in Maggie Steifvater’s The Raven Boys because they’re all mysterious and you just need to know more. And yeah, that’s way more than three people lol.

Becca: I’d spy on Gavin from Dearest Clementine by Lex Martin because he’s a very sexy RA and I was craving more alone time with him—I mean, more alone time for Clem & Gavin, but I was obviously living vicariously through her. I’d also spy on Sean Kendrick from The Scorpio Races by Maggie Steifvater. I’d watch him take care of his water horse day and night. And nope, that’s not a sexual innuendo. He really takes care of water horses. Korish Savoy from Cadet of Tildor by Alex Lidell. He’s basically like a fantasy’s version of a Navy Seal, and since I was never in his POV, I would gladly like to spy on him, especially in his bed chambers :) (that sounds super stalkerish).

QUICK QUESTIONS ROUND

1. Favorite book-to-movie (or comic-to-movie for you two!) adaptation?

Krista: X2
Becca: Peter Pan (2003) is by far my fav adaptation. It really goes along with J.M. Barrie’s work the best. Best comic-to-movie is definitely X2.

2. If you were superheroes, what would your superhero names be?

Krista: Kaboom!
Becca: Glitter Puff

3. If your personalities were mixed together, which book character would you produce? (I have no idea if my question made any sense…)

Krista: (Makes total sense!!) Lily
Becca: Hmmmmm…I’d say Daisy actually because I think Daisy is a combo of Lily and Rose in some ways. But then again, Krista thinks I’m more like Daisy, so Lily makes the most sense there. (Krista is more Rose / Connor than anyone.)

4. Marshmallows or chocolate?

Krista: Both (Smores!)
Becca: CHOCOLATE! Krista is cheating! And I just called her Rose Calloway *shakes head*

5. Stilettos, sandals or sneakers?

Krista: Sandals
Becca: Sneakers :)

  1. Girl these interview questions are good! lol. I have Amour Amour and Addicted To You by Krista and Becca, but sadly I haven’t been able to read them just yet! I’m hoping to get to them soon, especially since so many NA lovers adore them so much! Great job :)

  2. Those super hero names are the best! I can’t believe I’ve never heard of the Ritchie Twins! These books sound really fun so I better start reading some of them! And chocolate lovers rule the world!

  4. Ahh i love this so much. Krista and Becca are really killing it for the author interviews! But an alternate universe without a Rose and without a Lily are too dreadful to think about.

  5. Lmao Aimee! I laughed a lot while reading this. (And also, it’s funny how the twins fan another set of twins haha! MK&A ftw :)) THE RAVEN BOYS YES YESSSS I’d so very much spy on all the guys and Blue and tag along on their adventures that way ;) X-MEN 2 IS DA BOMB SERIOUSLY! I LOVE IT SO MUCH TOO! -hahaha I can totally see Becca as Glitter Puff :P Lmao @ the Rose comment. Oh gosh, this was so much fun to read. Thanks so much for this pumpkin!

  6. Yup, I *still* haven’t continued on with the Addicted series. I have horrible self-control, so I have a whole bookshelf of unread books that I want to get to first, heh. But everyone seems to love Connor so much (a lot more than Lo, from what I’ve seen O_O), that I will have to meet him at some point in time or I’ll be missing out! He seems like the ideal boyfriend. ;)

I WOULD TOTALLY SPY ON THE RAVEN BOYS. Especially Gansey, because to me he’s still one of the more mysterious boys. He seems so distant but close at the same time, and even though he’s one of my favorite Raven Boys — next to Ronan — I still feel like I know so little about him.

Ahhh, I really need to rewatch the X-Men shows, too. Days of Future Past was a bit of a disappointment, but I remember enjoying the older films. My favorite comic-to-film adaptation would have to be either The Winter Soldier or Christopher Nolan’s Batman, though! And there’s Age of Ultron releasing this month, which I’m sure I’m going to LOVE. Okay, getting sidetracked. xD

GLITTER PUFF. Omg, Becca, you’re adorable. And yup, sneakers for the win!

    Awesome interview, Aimee!

  7. What a fun interview Aimee! I love your questions and the authors’ answers! I confess that I’ve never read their books but I do know you love them so and I put that in high regard cause you’re not a big reader of NA. This one sounds intriguing! Going to add on my TBR :)
