War has begun. Arin is in the thick of it, with the East as his ally and the empire as his enemy. He’s finally managed to dismiss the memory of Kestrel, even if he can’t quite forget her. Kestrel turned into someone he could no longer recognize: someone who cared more for the empire than for the lives of innocent people—and certainly more than she cared for him. At least, that’s what he thinks.

But far north lies a work camp where Kestrel is a prisoner. Can she manage to escape before she loses herself? As the war intensifies, both Kestrel and Arin discover unexpected roles in battle, terrible secrets, and a fragile hope. The world is changing. The East is pitted against the West, and Kestrel and Arin are caught between. In a game like this, can anybody really win?

WHy wait

After the end of The Winner’s Crime, how could you not be dying to get your hands on a copy of this?!?

(Plus, I’m crossing my fingers for some Arin and Kestrel action. If not, I’m going to be very, very disappointed.)

[Aimee:] OMG YES BUAHAHA. Arin/Kestrel scenes, please. And lots of them. No pressure, Marie. But the title is ASKING for it.

YOUR TURN!

  1. I loved the first book, but I was a little disappointed in the first one who wasn’t as action-packed and was building a lot for the final book. However, I confessed I wasn’t expecting the book to end it this way, and since then, I just want to know what happens next! I’m excited and hope I won’t be disappointed. I LOVE the world in this series!

  3. I’m sad to say I’ve not actually read the trilogy yet. I’ve been wanting to for so long now but the cliffhangers we’re treated with has me thinking I’d benefit from reading them all in one sitting. So I’m definitely excited for The Winner’s Kiss cause it means I can binge read the entire series haha. Plus the covers are absolutely STUNNING. <3

  4. Oh my goodness! I am ashamed of myself; I cannot believe that I gobbled up the first book with so many tears, but I haven’t bought the second yet…I am a disgrace to the Winner’s Curse fandom. I do wish I could binge read it all, because I just know that after reading The Winner’s Crime, I won’t be able to WAIT for the third novel to come out. March 1st, 2016? Um, I might die of anticipation by then.

  5. I’ve read the first book, but still need to read the second. I’m definitely going to finish the series…I just tend to forget about series when so many other books come out between the books. I do love these covers, though. Great pick!

  7. I just finished the Winner’s Crime last week and I haven’t been the same since. My review consisted of a lot of denial, all caps, and exclamations and I still don’t think I captured what that ending did to me. I will be first in line for this book!!! Sadly, my emotions won’t be reading for this.

  8. I haven’t actually read The Winner’s Curse or Crime yet! But I own the first two books and nonetheless I am extremely excited to read them and I am very much waiting for the last book to be released too! I might wait until this is released to marathon the series. 😍
