As their senior year approaches, four diverse friends joined by their weekly Dungeons & Dragons game struggle to figure out real life. Archie’s trying to cope with the lingering effects of his parents’ divorce, Mari’s considering an opportunity to contact her biological mother, Dante’s working up the courage to come out to his friends, and Sam’s clinging to a failing relationship. The four eventually embark on a cross-country road trip in an attempt to solve–or to avoid–their problems.
1. I don’t normally read multiple-POV books, but after Six of Crows, I’m hoping for more awesome books with this kind of narration!
2. I need to read more LGBTQIA books!
3. That cover is basically the cutest thing ever.
4. Dungeons & Dragons? I sense geekiness overload, which is a good thing, by the way.

This sounds really good but one of my biggest literary pet peeves is multiple POV or head hopping as I call it. It always comes off so gimmicky or confusing. I prefer to only see inside one characters head. But that is just me personally. Thanks for stopping by my blog

I normally prefer single/double POVs as well, but I’m definitely not closing off my doors to multiple POV books. :)

I love young adult contemporary with kids coming of age and trying to figure stuff out. Plus, there’s road trip in this one, and it’s diverse and has far from flawless characters. I don’t mind multiple POVs if done right. And this one seems like a good read. Thanks for sharing. Hope we all enjoy it when we get to read it :)

Like you girl, I’m not a huge fan of multiple POVS. They have to be done right and I’ve heart that Six of Crows actually does it in a way that isn’t distracting with all the head hopping and things. ;) I can’t wait to see what you think of it Aimee!♡

I don’t like multiple pov’s, 2 is enough, so I don’t think I am going to read this one. Hope you enjoy it though!

oh my, you’ve really piqued my interest here! Even though I don’t read that much contemporary fiction I’m seriously loving the sound of this one. The unique combination of multiple POVs, LGBTQIA and D&D sounds like a perfect mix to me :D I hope you’ll love it Aimee and I’ll be looking out for your review ♥

I received a copy for the publisher, and when I read the synopsis I practically squealed! I love road trip books, and even though I’ve never played D&D, I know people who have, and I’ve always been curious to see how the game is played. It’s such a tiny book, so it looks like it’ll be a fast read, I can’t wait to dive in!

Ooh this does intrigue me too! :D I’m more interested in multiple POVs these days too. I feel like they’re being done better?! (Sometimes…I mean, I won’t talk about Zeroes. AHEM.) And I do like that cover! SO SImPLE.

OMG I’m reading Six of Crows now and I like the different POV’s if done right as it gives a different perspective into some characters. You can dislike one then you see inside them and suddenly you are on their side lol only with multiple POV
