Here’s this week’s question: Give us a sneak peak. What are you reading ? Tell us about a fun or fail scene from your current read.

I’m currently reading Prodigy by Marie Lu and Attachments by Rainbow Rowell. Both are really entertaining so far. Here are a couple of quotes from the books.

“Well enough,” I reply. “Remember, you’re drunk. And happy. You’re supposed to be lusting over your escort. Try smiling a little more.”

Day plasters a giant artificial smile on his face. As charming as ever. “Aw, come on, sweetheart. I thought I was doing a pretty good job. I got my arm around the prettiest escort on this block—how could I not be lusting over you? Don’t I look like I’m lusting? This is me, lusting.” His lashes flutter at me.

He looks so ridiculous that I can’t help laughing. Another passerby glances at me. “Much better.”

Jennifer to Beth: I think I’m pregnant.

Beth to Jennifer: What? Why would you think you’re pregnant?

Jennifer to Beth: I had three drinks last Saturday.

That’s it for this Feature & Follow Friday. Happy reading!

    1. Thanks! Prodigy is the sequel to Legend by Marie Lu. It’s a dystopian romance. Attachments is written by Rainbow Rowell, the author of Eleanor & Park. Both are realistic fiction. :)

  1. I love those quotes from Attachments. After reading Eleanor & Park, I might be willing to read anything she writes. Thanks for stopping by my FFF. I’m following via Bloglovin’.

    1. Thanks for stopping by! It’s a great book, I hope you like it. =)

      Followed back via Bloglovin’. :)

  2. I read Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. I am going to check out Attachments. What does drinking have to do with pregnancy…lol
    Thanks for stopping by.

  3. I haven’t read Prodigy yet! I had borrowed it from the library, but I didn’t get to read it in time before it was due back. I’ll have to re-borrow it when I have more free time, since I’ll have to reread Legend first! I haven’t read anything by Rainbow yet, but I did buy her Eleanor & Park a week or so ago.

Thanks for stopping by my FF!

  4. Interesting. I haven’t read either of those yet, but I am always interested in reading more books by Rainbow Rowell.

Thanks for stopping by earlier :)
